Logistician Revolt (post church nerf)
Polen
Now that the church card of Poland-Lithuania has been nerfed, we can start looking at other crazy combos into a revolt. Here is one involving the logistician for Poland. The main build is tagged as "team" because it is very unsafe compared to its conterparts with other civilizations.
Unlike most FI to Revolt builds, this one can work without a trade route. The main guide assumes you have a trade route, the variant without will be presented at the bottom.
Game plan :
Use the power of free folwark specialisation (thanks to the logistician) to enhance two high tempo shipments of the duchy revolt, before partitioning Poland yet again.
Age I :
Perform a standard TP+house opening. In the absence of wood treasure in base, chop with 3 settlers until you can build the house. Herd agressively. Having 3 herds under your TC is a massive plus for the build.
Age up with the logistician at 16/20 population. In transition, chop for a market, research hunting dogs, and bank 300c. Then put all your settlers back on food.
Age II :
Send the 700c crate as soon as you can. We just want to age up. Train only 3 settlers in age 2. Age up with the exiled prince as soon as you can.
In transition, you need to bank at least 150 coin (to call minutemen just in case), and chop for another house.
Age III :
Send the fort. you will need it to resist agressions. If you have an enemy army approaching, ship leičai/2falcs and combine with the minutement. This will delay your timing (and pop cap you) but you will stay alive. After the fort is up, ship 1000c to age up (with the pope, you badly need the XP).
In transition, ship 1000w. Use the wood to build 5 folwarks. If you are running out of herds, you can set one or two as farming folwark. thanks to the logistician, the upgrades are free.
Age IV :
Collect the XP and ship 1600w, followed by the factory. Macro for at least 1000f and 1000c. Feel free to bank more food and coin. Use the wood to build 4 extra folwarks (for a total of 9 folwarks in your base). You should have 1000w left in the bank for the revolt. Once the factory has arrived, revolt immediately to the duchy of Warsaw.
Revolt !
Refrain from partitioning Poland yet. There are better shipments available to you. Make sure all folwarks are set to "military". Upgrades are free because you aged up with the logistician at the beginning of the game (this guy saved you 900w in the process). Ship in either order
- November Uprising (use the factory to get the coin if you didn't have time to bank it in age 4) : 5 horse guns and 5 vistula uhlans.
- Kościuszko Uprising (use the factory to get the food if you didn't have time to bank it in age 4) : 13 guard pikemen and 13 guard skirmishers
Both shipments benefit from the folwarks you built earlier. November uprising scales off military folwarks and the fort. These shipments have more value than the partitions and arrive faster.
Push very hard. Extend your tempo with the partition shipments.
No TP variant :
This variants works well with a good coin treasure in base. You will do a market+house opening. Age up with the logistician, and chop 128 wood and 300c in transition. Early age 2, build the chuch as fast as possible. The rest of the build is unchanged. Make sure your explorer gathers as many XP treasures as possible. It accelerates the build quite a bit.
Safer and faster revolt :
Another variant of the build involves sacrificing the folwarks to revolt quickly after reaching age 4. Do a TP+house opening. Age up at 15/20 population with the governor. Make a market+hunting dogs in transition and collect 100c. Your age 3 shipments are unchanged. Going to age 4 you can either pick the pope (like the main build) or the cavalry marshall (in this case build a house in transition to age 4). In transition macro for 1000f/w/c. If you aged up with the pope, send the 2 heavies before revolting (queue 2 settlers in age 4). If you aged with the cavalry marshall, revolt asap.
Compared to the main build you will be faster and safer going to age 3. you will also be faster to revolt. However, you will have to rely on partition shipments or a less powerful infinite unit shipments to sustain your tempo.
Dumping the revolt idea :
The deck presented can be used for :
- a FF into pulaski's legion (3 vils =>700c=>700w=>Pulaski)
- a Vlach banner timing (3 vils =>700c=>700w(spam folwarks) =>1000w (more folwarks and a sejm) => Vlach banner)
- a semi FF with retainers (3 vils => Adv folwarks => 700w => 700c => Age 3)
- a FI into boom (3 vils => 700c => Fort => 1000c => 1000w => 1600w =>Robocizna (for 22 settlers))
Do not think you are piegonholed into one build.
