Double rax Musketeer rush
Daneses
A transposition of a classic Ottoman build for the Danes. You hit later than the Otto build by you can keep going for a while and outmass. This build requires a trade route an banafit from a wood treasure in base.
Game plan :
Invest in trade route early and use the XP to pump full batches of musketeers from two barracks funded by an augmented infinite mixed crate.
Age I :
TP+house opening. You can explore a bit with the custom house wagon but make sure said custom house is up before the 2 minute mark. Age up with 15 population with the quartermaster (who else ?).
In transition, chop 300w and 125c then get back to collecting food. We do not have time for a market and hunting dogs. Do not worry, this will arrive soon.
Age II :
Ship stowage immediately. Research Børsen at the custom house. Do not bother picking up the crate, børsen will do it for you. Simply build one barrack with two settlers as soon as you hit age 2 then wait for the wood to come in to build the 2nd barrack and two houses. Keep one settler on coin and put the others on food.
Start training one musketeer when the barrack is up. You should be able to finish the batch once stowage arrives. The remaining wood and coin will let you build a market, research hunting dogs and build an extra house. Your 3rd shipment is the 800food (700+100 from stowage) crate. It will help you complete the 2nd batch of musketeers. If you are short on gold you can sell some food at the market. The 4th shipment is the mixed crate (750 in total).
The mixed crate contains enough coin to train 10 musketeers and more than enough wood to build a house. The extra wood and be used to research extra market upgrades (e.g steel trap) or increase the XP income (trade posts).
You want to make sure you outmass the ennemy before pushing. Do not rush hard with danes. Your age up is too slow for that. Take advantage of the fact that competitors will run out of crates before you do.
Follow up :
Your set of options is blissfully simple
- More musketeers ? Ship the mixed crate (again)
- Need light infantry ? Ship the crossbowmen
- Enemy has light infantry ? Ship the hussars
- More light infantry ? Age up and ship the falconets
- Need to age up ? Stop making units and ship 800c
- Want to switch to a boom ? Ship Oldenburg kings and train royal huntsmen with your food income
